Too Faced - Love Light Prismatic Highlighter - Blinded by the Light
Too Faced Blinded By the Light Love Light Prismatic Highlighter is a very light beige with warm undertones and a sparkling, pearly finish. I could just barely detect a subtle sheen on the skin when I applied this, as it was quite sheer and did not build as I tried to layer it--it just seemed to add bits of sparkle that did not stay well on the skin (lots of migration over time). The texture was smooth, firm but did not seem like it was going to be problematic, and it definitely didn't emphasize my skin's natural texture! What I could see of the highlighter seemed to last for seven hours no me.
The formula was described as having "gorgeous color payoff" that will yield a "mesmerizing metallic shine." The powder was smooth, firmer (you'll want to use a denser brush for picking up color), and it was quite blendable on the skin, but a lot of the product didn't seem to actually adhere that well to the skin, because despite seeing product on my brush, the formula translated to something much sheerer and more subdued. The powder did seem to get softer and easier to use (with more traditional highlighting brushes) after a few uses. In reality, the formula was less "metallic shine" and more moderate sheen. This is the type of texture that can often be used with a dampened brush, which helps with improving coverage and increasing the reflectiveness of the finish--though I did not see Too Faced mention it specifically about theirs.
I think this product is going to work best for someone who wants a subtle to moderate sheen, doesn't mind fine sparkle, and likes sheerer products.
